Nine lemons rest together beneath the trace of a falling star.

In many tradtions the lemon carries an energie of renewal. its bright color yellow evokes light abundance and prosperity, while its presence is believed to absorbe negative energie and return to a sense of clarity. Here the lemons become more then fruit. They are small vessels of transformation gathered together as if to protect and renew the space around them.

The number nine holds a particular significance as the highest single digit, it speaks of completion, wholeness and the closing of a cycle. The moment when something has reached its fullness before giving way to what comes next. Nine carries both an ending and a beginning within it.

Above them a falling star crosses the sky.

For centuries a falling star has been associated with wishes, quidance and moments of profound change. In this work the star becomes a messenger between the earthly and the celestial, a fleeting sign that arrives at precisely the moment one chapter is closing and another is waiting to begin.

Th woman sits quietly, she simmply knows that transformation can not be forced.
