A woman sits quietly at a table beneath a crescent moon. Around her, the room seems familiar, yet nothing is entirely as it should be. The chairs stretch beyond their ordinary proportions, the patern of the floor shifts like a stage and single glass of wine holds the stillness of the evening.

The moon knows inhabits the space between solitude and presence between what is seen and what remains unspoken. The two empty chairs suggest anabsence but also the possibility of someone or something just beyond the frame. They become silent witness to an unseen world.

The moon distant and constant becomes the only figure that seems to understand.

Perhaps somethings are not to be explaned.
